Senior NCP
Our Senior National Coaching Programme is for senior elite classical ballet & contemporary students from across New Zealand aged 13 years and older who feel additional pre professional coaching and mentoring throughout the year will help them reach their full potential. The aim of the Senior NCP is to offer you the opportunity to join our Pre Professional Full-Time programme for two weeks per term to help prepare you physically and mentally for full time professional ballet & contemporary dance schools in the future. This programme will also offer you the opportunity to experience what life will be like within a full time professional ballet or contemporary dance school, and what will be expected of you. Acceptance is by private audition, video audition or invitation.
Junior NCP
Our Junior National Coaching Programme is for younger elite classical ballet students across New Zealand aged 11 years and older who feel they would benefit from additional coaching and mentoring throughout the year alongside students with the same goals, passion and commitment.
This programme invites the younger dancers to come to Christchurch twice each term on appointed Sunday dates for a full day of classical coaching classes, mentoring discussion and conditioning programmes at an age appropriate level. This programme focuses on strength, artistry and technique. Acceptance is by private audition, video audition or invitation.
As AGA has many students who are part of the New Zealand School of Dance Associate and Scholars programme in Wellington - the dates set for NCP coaching will never conflict with the NZSD programmes. AGA and all of our programme’s encourage and support our national school.
